On Thursday and Friday January 3rd and 4th, City Fire held Fire Facts Seminar #26 at Princeton University and Seton Hall University. During the two day event, 500 Fire Officials were educated on the Uniform Fire Code Updates in terms of Inspection, Testing and Maintenance as well as an introduction to In-Building Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Enhancement Systems. This highly anticipated event is important to City Fire, because we take pride in educating our customers, community and fire officials. For over 30 years, we have be given the opportunity to educate Fire Officials on current hot topics through the Fire Facts Seminar.
Both days of Fire Facts Seminar #26 started with a continental breakfast. During breakfast, attendees are able to network with other attendees and visit sponsors’ tables to learn about their services and what they have to offer. Once breakfast ended, all attendees went into the classroom where the seminar is held. Once inside, Paul McGrath, President of City Fire, said a few words and introduced the speakers.
We were honored to have two great speakers share their knowledge with the attendees. This year’s speakers were John Drucker and Jesse Baker. John Drucker is the Fire Protection and Electrical subcode Official for the Borough of Red Bank and the Fire Protection Subcode Official in the Borough of Oceanport, NJ. Jesse Baker is the Business Development Manager at Honeywell.
